 Have Come to an end.

With a degree of hesitation I have decided to move on with my life and let other more enthusiastic
people take over the task of providing
the latest Gig-Guides and newsletters.

As explained in my email this week I have decided to take another direction in my life having done the gig-guides and newsletters now for 71/2 years I feel I have contributed enough to Rock-n-Roll.

Anyone wishing to do the math on my hit meter will see that I have averaged over 100 hits a week,  not bad when you consider that the first few years were fledgling years. I am proud of the input that I have put into the dance world and will continue dancing.

Over the next few months I will put up some of the many thousands of photos for those that want to delve into nostalga.  If you want to "lift" some of then please do so.  This has never been a  "closed" site, everything on it is for sharing, even the jokes.

And yes from time to time I will put up some of the great jokes that you people keep sending me.  Just no gig-guide,  no time to do it,  no inclination to put in the hours of work that goes to researching it.

Now we have an enthusiastic young lady who has just this week started up her own web site giving out some information about dances and venues and bands. Whether her pages will cover such a broad as range as my pages did I don't know.  She is aiming towards her large circle of Rock n Roll friends and that may be all she intends to do.

Her new site is bright and cheery and is in a growing stage at the moment. Why don't you go and have a look and see.
